The Ghanaian social app for tertiary institutions, Flippy Campus, has launched a marketplace on its Android and web applications.
The aim of this new marketplace is for students of tertiary institutions to sell and buy new and used products very easily.
According to the CEO of Flippy Campus, David Mumuni, the Flippy Marketplace is part of the platform’s efforts to make sure that its users have the perfect campus experience.
“The Flippy Marketplace is in line with our efforts to create the ultimate campus experience for our users. It is an idea we have been cooking up for almost a year and we are happy to roll it out to allow students and student-focused brands and services to reach the thousands of students actively engaged on Flippy Campus,” he said.
“In future, we hope to have a dedicated section within the marketplace to relate directly with the students.”
Flippy Campus has formed partnerships with the likes of InterPay, Campus Base TV, Samsung And Tisu, all with the aim of improving the marketplace experience of its student users.
“Buying and selling on campus is a part of student culture and we have noticed a lot of this activity in the feeds of our users, so we decided to give them a dedicated section on the app to sell to their flip buddies and make some extra income while using Flippy Campus,” said Ammishaddai Ofori, Head of Content and PR of the company.
