Fire has razed down part of the Ghana Highways Authority headquarters building near the Ghana National Theatre in Accra.
The fire which started around 7:30 Monday morning has engulfed at least seven offices within the three-storey building, Accra-based Tv3 reported.
It’s not clear what might have triggered the fire as officials of the Ghana National Fire Service are yet to speak on the issue.
Fire personnel have managed to bring the fire under control but there is still smoke billowing from the building.
Meanwhile, no casualty has been recorded as staff in the building were able to escape without being hurt.
