Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta has re-emphasised that the 2017 budget will address the needs of the poor in society.
He was speaking at the launch of the 2017 Ghana national convention of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International in Accra under the theme “Awakening the Sleeping Giant”.
The Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI) is made up of Christians from all denominations with the goal to promoting Christian values in the business environment, community and home.
The Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori Atta used the opportunity to urge the business community to expand their businesses in order to create more jobs.
National President of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International, George Prah, stressed the need for the country to be ran on the right principles and values.
Chief Executive Officer of Agricultural Development Bank, Daniel Asiedu who was also the guest speaker for the occasion noted that businessmen and women must come into terms with the biblical fact in doing business.
The launch was attended by businessmen and women, entrepreneurs, and pastors among others.
