The long awaited list of validated DKM customers who have not received any payment of their locked up cash is to be released tomorrow, 6th December, 2016.
This is according to the Registrar General’s Department who is the Official Liquidator for DKM Microfinance Company.
According to the Official Liquidator, the list will be posted at the various payment stations for customers to identify their names before collecting their monies.
The list is expected to lay to rest the numerous concerns that have been raised by customers over the continuous failure by the Registrar General’s Department to meet the numerous deadlines it had set to get the outstanding issues addressed.
Meanwhile customers of DKM have told Citi Business News they are anticipating that payments are effected as scheduled.
Spokesperson for some of the aggrieved customers in the Upper West region, Fred Kuuyine explained that their next line of action will largely be determined after Tuesday.
“If a list is out why don’t you let the people have it …so for now we are just waiting patiently ,like they said anytime the list is out,’ he remarked.
Thousands of customers of DKM Microfinance Company lost their investments running into millions of cedis after the owners of the company invested in unapproved venture and lost their funds.
Customers of the company thronged to all the branches to withdraw their funds after the news went viral, creating panic.
The Bank of Ghana confiscated the assets of the company and appointed the Registrar General’s Department to commence liquidation process to refund customers of the company.
