Enyimba FC goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has received a late call-up into the Black Stars squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
The former AshantiGold SC shot stopper is set to replace Rosenborg FC goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey, who has been forced to withdraw from the squad due to injury.
Kwarasey was one of the three goalkeepers named in the 26-man provisional squad released by head coach Avram Grant last Monday.
Fatau Dauda, who made an Africa Cup of Nations debut on homesoil in 2008, is set to travel to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where the team is camped ahead of the tourney.
Ghana will kick start a Group D campaign on Tuesday, January 17 in a clash with East African side Uganda.
The 2015 losing finalists will also play Mali and Egypt later in the group.
