A vigil was held at the forecourt of the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) on Friday, to celebrate the life of a movie icon, Henry Hale Kofi Middleton Mends.
His pre-burial service took place the following day at the State House as family and friends were present to pay their last respect to the filmmaker.

The veteran actor, Kofi Middleton Mends died of kidney failure at age 77. The actor had been battling with kidney failure for about two years.
Kofi Middleton Mends passed away at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital last August.
