A former minister in the Kufuor administration, Ernest Akobuor Debrah, has died.
Mr Debrah died after a short illness Wednesday April 6, 2016, at his private residence at Adenta, in Greater Accra Region, Nana Agyenim-Boateng, communication officer of the New Patriotic Party in Tano North confirmed the death to Class FM and Accra FM.
A banker by profession, Mr Debrah served as Brong Ahafo and Northern Regional Minister, and later as Minister of Agriculture in the government of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) between 2001 and 2009.
He also served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tano North constituency. He was 69.
