Argentina’s Fernando David “El Vasco” Saucedo (60-6-3, 10 KO’s) who fights Ghana’s Emmanuel “Game Boy” Tagoe (26-1, 13 KO’s) on November 25 2016 for the vacant IBO lightweight title at The Emporium, near the Korle Lagoon has promised to knock out his opponent before his Bukom home fans.
Speaking at his home base before landing in Ghana, Fernando David Saucedo aka El Vasco who has a rich ring experience of 60 fights said he will teach Game Boy some lessons in the game and put him to sleep before the final bell.
He said his experience is going to be his weapon and Tagoe will suffer before going down.
But his words have encouraged Emmnuel Tagoe whose manager Asamoah Gyan has dished out over $400,000 to get the fight in Accra.
According to Tagoe, his managers have worked hard to bring the fight to Ghana, and it is his turn to fight and thrill the fans with a good win.
Tagoe who has lost only once in his 26 fights said Saucedo will come as a tough opponent but he will not last the rounds.
“I am the new king of Ghana Boxing, I am only waiting for the coronation on November 25. It is time Ghana gets a world title, and I am going to do it for Ghana” he said.
Emmanuel Tagoe who is the WBA International Lightweight Champion hinted that his managers and promoters are working hard to get him a unification bout so that he becomes the IBO and WBA Champion.
Currently Tagoe holds nine titles and the tenth will be the IBO title, if he wins.
