Eezy FM, a member of GN Media of Groupe Nduom (GN), in the Greater Accra Region has launched its first outdoor programme in Ga, christened ‘Sane Gbaa.
‘Sane Gbaa’ literally means “storytelling,” where the roles and contributions of Africans in the diaspora towards the continent’s development Agenda are told.
The maiden edition of the programme, which was held last week at James Town, Accra celebrated the birth of reggae legend, Robert Nesta Bob Marley.
The show recounted his (Bob Marley) contribution towards the emancipation of black Africans through music.
Guests were treated to some great songs of Bob Marley with live band rendition.
The Brazilian Ambassador, Laudemar Aquiar, was among the guests who joined in the celebration.
He donated some books to ArchiAfrika, a platform that initiates and facilitates research and projects on African architectural works.
Other dignitaries who graced the occasion were the former Mayor of Greater Accra, Nathaniel Amarteyfio, and Nana Yaa Ofori-Atta.
The, show which is hosted by Joe Addo, is broadcast live on Eezy 107.5 FM every Saturday from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
