Don’t Waste Votes On Mahama, Nana Addo

The flagbearer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom has appealed to Ghanaians to give him the mandate to rule Ghana because frontrunners John Mahama and Nana Akufo-Addo are making empty promises.

Nduom said it will be a waste of time to vote for the incumbent and the main opposition leader because Ghana has not seen drastic transformation under their governments – NDC and NPP respectively.

“If you vote badly, it will affect you for four years – it will lead to poverty, disease and unemployment.”

So “vote for jobs, potable water, good roads, stable electricity supply, access to good health care among others,” Dr. Nduom told the people of Manso in the Mpohor constituency of the Western region.

He said unlike football where one can go about regular life soon after losing a match, a vote will have positive or negative effects which will last for four years.

“If you vote for someone who does not give you what they promised, you have wasted your vote,” the business mogul said in the presence of his running mate Ms. Brigette Dzogbenuku.

“…President Mahama went to the Flagstaff House and has brought dumsor, disease, poverty and unemployment despite his numerous promises.”

Dr. Nduom noted Mahama and Nana Akufo-Addo are only making empty promises to win votes.

“Mahama said he will create 1 million jobs when he wins the elections… those are vague promises. Nana Addo says he will send a factory each to each town. I wonder why he [Nana Addo] waited till now… the answer is simple… he can’t do it,” Dr. Nduom stated.

“I will never say Rawlings, Kufuor or Mahama have not done anything, however, despite all their ‘works’, malaria, poverty, bad roads and unemployment still linger.”

He charged the people to look around and see if the current Member of Parliament (MP,) Alex Agyekum, has helped to bring any development to the area.

In view of this, he urged the people to vote for J. B. Aubyn as a replacement for Mr Agyekum and help him win the seat and “see what he will do for the constituency.”
