In what seems as a surprise, a founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has asked Ghanaians not to vote for the 2016 Presidential Candidate of the same party. Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe has said that Ghanaians will learn a very bitter lesson if they vote NPP’s intolerant flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo for President in coming elections.

According to the founding member of the NPP who has fallen out with party executives, the intolerant nature of Nana Akufo-Addo could spell doom for the country if elected president.
The NPP pioneer made this known during a video interview with Ghanapoliticsonline.com. During the interview, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe said he does not believe Nana Addo can win the election; even though there have been tons of media reports projecting a positive image of the NPP Flagbearer.

He explained that the seeming positive attributes of Nana Addo are only engineered by his media aides who fight tooth and nail to ensure Ghana views the NPP Flagbearer from a positive angle. To Dr. Tamakloe, Akufo-Addo is being bloated by the press to make him look good so he can win the election.
Reacting to such reports, Dr. Tamakloe said that all the tactics of the media to help Nana Addo would not work, as he trusts the discernment of Ghanaians to make the right decision at the polls. He therefore urged the people to be wary of all the tricks played by Nana Addo and his media aides.
During the interview, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe, also said he would cast his ballot for the Flagbearer of the incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC), President John Mahama. According to him, Mahama is a competent and peace-loving person who will take Ghana to greater heights in his second tenure.
