Independent Presidential candidate, Jacob Osei Yeboah (JOY), has made a “humble” request to the Electoral Commission (EC) to rescind its decision to criminalize the untoward mistakes made by the subscribers.
Mr Osei Yeboah, in an appreciation release, stated that the disqualified aspirants by this setback have already been traumatized thus the EC should “tamper justice with mercy.”
Jacob Osei, one of the four presidential hopefuls who qualified to pursue the presidential race, entreated all to “strengthen the law to justify our authentic co-existence as a nation by encouraging the EC to respect the law without fear or favour.”

THE OFFICE OF JOY 2012 FOR 2016 UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF JACOB OSEI YEBOAH EXPRESSES APPRECIATION.
PRESS RELEASE
I stand in awe and with greatest gratitude to God for the humbling gratification. I also wish to use this opportunity to thank the JOY2012 team for their commitment and resources. Nevertheless, my deepest appreciation also goes to all and Sundry – especially our Noble Chiefs and Clergy who helped in diverse ways in securing this historic qualification.
It’s been a month of intense work towards ensuring qualification through this nomination process. Such is how daunting the hurdle to be cleared was, that indeed is no mean a feat to achieve.
However, this victory is neither unto JOY2012 and his team. Neither is it for any of the qualified Candidates and their respective parties. Rather, it’s a victory for the “Rule of Law” and the entire country irrespective of whether one qualified or not.
At this juncture, I wish to make a very humble appeal to the EC to rescind its decision to criminalize the untoward mistakes made by the subscribers. For in law, you can tamper justice with mercy. Moreover, the disqualified aspirants by this setback have already been traumatized.
We equally employ on the disqualified aspirants to carefully think through their respective threats to sue the EC.
Let us all strengthen the law to justify our authentic co-existence as a Nation by encouraging EC to respect the law without fear or favour.
For any Nation that ‘murders’ or disrespects the law live in self destruction afterwards.
On this note, let us look forward positively as one people, one nation and one destiny to chart a positive future for next generation.
Finally, I expect that other presidential aspirants will up their campaign arguments based on issues to build our Nation. We however must endeavor to eschew the acts of destructive politics.
Thank you.
Long Live JOY2012
