The Director of Passport, Alexander Ntrakwa, has been re-assigned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The New Director, Emmanuel Enos, takes over from Mr. Ntrakwa effective Monday January 16, 2017.
Mr. Alexander Ntrakwa, who assumed office as the Director in August 2014, told Onua News that “my terms ends today Friday and from next week, I will come there but not as the director but just to guide the new director on the handing over”.
He said the place is not political by people are portraying the place as political “but it is part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs”.
Asked when he was re-assigned, Mr. Ntrakwa said “my term of office has ended”. He noted that the former Foreign Affairs Minister, Hanna Tetteh re-assigned him but was only waiting for a new director to take over.
