The acting General secretary of the New PatrioticPparty (NPP), John Boadu has urged President John Dramani Mahama to go and debate Madam Akua Donkor if he seeks to debate anyone.
President John Mahama has been in the news recently calling on the NPP flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo to come and debate him publicly on the issues affecting the nation.
President Mahama reiterated his calls for a debate with Nana Akufo-Addo, saying it would afford both parties an opportunity to set the record straight on a number of issues including the state of the economy.
President Mahama suggested that the NPP was simply misinforming the electorate with propaganda and his challenge would ensure a statistics based debate on the economy.
But John Boadu speaking at the campaign launch of the NPP parliamentary candidate for Awutu-Senya West, George Andah called on the President to go and debate the founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor if he seeks to debate anyone.
“Mahama is so confused and desperate that he is calling on the opposition to debate him but Nana Addo would hold debates with the suffering masses including those who have had their allowances cancelled by this government…if Mahama seeks to debate anyone, he should do so with Akua Donkor whom he bought two cars for and built a mansion for as well…,” he said.
He further added that President Mahama would then be allowed to debate Dr Bawumia after that.
John Boadu also urged the electorates to vote massively for the NPP in the December polls to end the corruption, incompetence and ineptitude in the country.
