The second batch of President Akufo-Addo’s ministerial nominees will appear before the Appointments Committee of Parliament today, Monday, January 30th.
Dan Kwaku Botwe minister-designate for Regional Reorganisation and Development, Dr Anthony Akoto Osei, Minister-designate for Monitoring and Evaluation and Otiko Afisa Djaba, the minister-designate for Gender and Social Protection will appear before the committee for vetting.
President Akufo-Addo last Friday swore-in the first batch of 13 ministers who were approved by the committee.
The 26-member Appointments Committee suspended sitting last Wednesday after vetting 13 out of the 36 ministerial nominees named by the President.
The vetting committee breaks on Thursday after the last batch of ministers scheduled for the week take their turn.
