Sympathisers, supporters, fans and followers of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) are expected to converge at the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences in Accra to launch the party’s 2016 manifesto.
Dubbed ‘Apam Foforͻ’ to wit the new testament, the manifesto is expected to outline “an elaborate programme” to return the leading Nkrumaist party to power.
Speaking to TV3’s Jonathan Adams on the eve of the launch, National Chairman of CPP Professor Edmund Delle said the party strategized to go around the country with the content of its 2016 policy document before launching it.
“We think that we should support farming with technology,” he stated as one of the policies to find in the manifesto.
The document is expected to be launched by the party’s Presidential Candidate Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, who will be the first physically challenged president if he wins the December 7 elections.
Expected to help in the launch will be Mr Greenstreet’s running mate, Nana Gabby Nsiah Nketia.
