Staff and clients of the Dunkwa Magistrate Court in the Upper Denkyira East Municipality of the Central Region were last Monday left stranded after a heavy rain storm ripped off the roof of the court building.
The staff members were rendered ‘homeless’ as they reported to work on Monday morning, March 27, 2017 but found the place totally messed up.
They had no option but to salvage the damage caused. while clients who seemed confused were spotted loitering around as they awaited their fate.
The staff members could not access the court room and were seen drying documents that had been soaked by the rain.
Clients were therefore asked to return to their various destinations while attempts were made to put the place in order for their cases to be called on a later date.
But some of them expressed displeasure saying they had travelled from afar to come and seek justice.
