Former Black Stars coach Hebert Addo has died at the 37 Military Hospital after battling a short illness.
The 66-year-old had been at the 37 Military Hospitals over a week now after his health kept deteriorating.
Starr Sports crew had earlier this month visited the renowned coach and he had complained about the neglect by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The family is yet to officially announce the demise of the statesman.
He coached the Black Meteors (U23) (1981-82) and Black Satellites (U20) (1983-84) before graduating to the Black Stars (1983-86/87) and capping it off by winning the SWAG coach of the year award (1987).
