The church has been asked to do more to assist people to smooth over their differences, to live in peace and harmony.
The Very Reverend Dr. Emmanuel Asare-Kusi, Superintendent Minister of the Adweso Calvary Methodist Church, said it needed to provide leadership – lead the way to keep the society calm.
He was performing the ceremony to officially induct newly elected officers of the Men’s Fellowship at Adweso in the Koforidua municipality.
The 12- member executive, chaired by Mr. Larbi Amoah, would serve a three-year term.
The other officers are George Folley, Vice Chairman, Ernest Abakah Ansah, Secretary, Morrison Kobenah Agyei, Deputy Secretary, Samuel Annor Oduro, Organizer and Kwame Afram, Deputy Organizer with Daniel Osei Agyei, Nana Danquah, Seth Oduro Boateng, Abednego Mbeah, Mandela Asante, Nyarko Larbi and Nana Afranie, as executive officers.
The Very Rev Dr. Asare- Kusi reminded them to work with zeal to attract more young men into the Fellowship.
They should also support the church to fulfil its mission and vision.
The immediate past chairman, Mr. Daniel Osei Agyei, rallied the members to continue to focus on helping to grow the church.
