The chiefs and elders of the Komenda Traditional Council have endorsed the second term bid of President John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking on behalf of the chiefs, an elder of the Council of Komenda, Nana kojo Appiah, said Mr Mahama had done enough for the Central Region and, therefore, deserved to be allowed to continue his good works.
He mentioned projects such as the Komenda Sugar Factory, Elmina Fish Processing Factory, the Kotokuraba market, and the Cape Coast Sports Stadium among others by the National Democratic Congress government as the reason to allow Mr Mahama stay in office for the next four years.
Nana Kojo Appiah said this when Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur paid a courtesy call on the chiefs and elders of Komenda as part of his campaign tour in the Central Region.
Mr Amissah-Arthur, addressing NDC supporters, said it is only the NDC government that has Ghanaians at heart and urged them to come out in their numbers and vote for Mr Mahama on 7 December.
The vice president also urged the electorate at Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abirem to vote for Dr Samuel Atta Mills as their Member of Parliament.
