Ghana champions Wa All Stars suffered a humiliating 1-3 defeat to Libyan side Al Ahli Tripoli in their first CAF Champions League match.
All Stars hosted Alhrgana at the Tamale Sports Stadium on Sunday in the first leg of the preliminary round of the top continental club competition.
But they stuttered as the North Africans ran away as two-goal-margin winners.
The second leg is scheduled to be played next Sunday inside Tunisia’s Stade El Menzah as a result of the unstable political situation in Tripoli.
The winner will play Sierra Leone’s Johansen or Morocco’s FUS Rabat in the next round of the qualifying round.
