Staffs of Capital & More Microfinance crowned 2016 in a memorable style last Friday as they visited the Christ Faith Foster Home at Frafraha in Accra to put a smile on the faces of the inmates.
In a touching gesture, staff members joined foster children at the orphanage for a day of fun-filled moments to express the true meaning of the Christmas season; hospitality and giving.
Led by their Managing Director, Mrs Akosua Oduma Oppong-Tawiah, the staff interacted and played with the children after which they donated assorted food and non-food items to the orphanage.
The items included bags of rice, gallons of oil, cartoons of canned tomato and fish, assorted vegetables, tubers of yam, groundnut paste, toiletries, stationery and clothes among other items.
They topped the items up with an undisclosed amount of money to support the running of the orphanage.
Presenting the items, Mrs Oppong-Tawiah said Christmas being a season of love, it was important to remember those in need and support them, hence their decision to contribute towards the lives of the orphans at the Home. She said it was also an opportunity for the company to give back to society in line with its social responsibility.
“This is the beginning of a more lasting relationship that we are establishing with Christ Faith. We will continue to support you,” she assured the children and the mangers of the Home.
Officials of the Home also commended Capital & More for the kind gesture.
