Ghana will be playing against Mexico in the 2017 international friendly match coming up in the United States of America. The Mexico vs Ghana friendly will come off in June, 2017 at the NRG Stadium (formerly Reliant Stadium), Houston, USA.
This year’s game will make it the third time Ghana is clashing with Mexico, having encountered them in 2006 and 2008, with Ghana losing the both matches: 0-1 and 1-2 respectively. The match will however, serve as a warm up game for the teams against the upcoming 2018 World Cup tournament.
But for Mexico, the match will first prepare her for the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup, the official national team competition in the region, which will kick off just few days after the friendly against Ghana. Meanwhile, this will be Mexico’s 16th game at the NRG stadium. Of the 15 matches The Tri has played at the Houston stadium, she won seven, drew in six and lost two. The team was their last year in a Copa America Centenario 1-1 match against Venezuela.

Meanwhile, the date and time for the mtch still dances between Wednesday, June 28 (7: 30 pm) and Thursday, June 29 (1: 30 am); probably because of world time differences.
