The Black Stars will play for Bronze on Saturday, February 4 when they play neighbours Burkina Faso in the third-place playoffs of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Stars return to their group-stage base Port-Gentil, having made rounds in Oyem and Franceville in their quarter-final and semi-final matches respectively.
Avram Grant’s side will play familiar foes Burkina Faso, who missed a second final in four years on penalties to Egypt.
The Stars also failed to reach a second successive final after losing to two late goals from Cameroon last Thursday.
Saturday’s match will be officiated by Algerian Mehdi Abid Charef, who oversaw Ghana’s 1-0 win over Mali.
Both Ghana and Burkina Faso will receive $1.5 million each for reaching this stage of the tournament.
The two last met in the semi-finals of South Africa 2013, a match Ghana lost via penalties after a 1-1 draw.
The 2017 Cup of Nations ends on Sunday, February 5 with Egypt playing Cameroon in the final.
