The Black Stars have touched down in Libreville, Gabon en route to Port Gentil, where they will be based for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
The team touched down late Saturday in time for their opening Group D game against Uganda’s Cranes on Tuesday.
Ghana were supposed to be in Gabon on Friday but had to reschedule their flight from the United Arab Emirates due to bad weather.
The Stars are looking forward to ending a 35-year title drought.
The 2015 losing finalists will at least seek to extend a tournament record of reaching successive semi-finals.
Ghana will later play Mali and Egypt in the same group.
The tournament began on Saturday with hosts Gabon being held to a 1-1 draw by debutants Guinea Bissau while Cameroon were also held by the same scoreline by Burkina Faso’s Stallions.
