Ghana Premier League side Bechem United have been eliminated from the 2017 Caf Confederation Cup qualifiers.
The Hunters were beaten 4-1 at the July 5 Stadium in Algiers by MC Alger, who qualify on a 5-3 aggregate.
The Ghanaian side had beaten the Algerians 2-1 in the first leg of the preliminary round played at the Accra Sports Stadium.
That match was the first continental outing for the Brong Ahafo Region club, who had made it to represent Ghana after winning the 2016 FA Cup.
Two goals from Abdulrahman Hachoud and one each from Mohamed Segeur and Zakaria Mansouri ensured that MCA overturned the first leg defeat.
Ahmed Toure got the consolation for Bechem United.
MCA will play Renaissance du Congo of DR Congo next in first round qualifiers.
