Former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party [NPP], Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie has advised the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Ade Coker to prepare to lose his post at the party’s incoming primaries.
This according to him is because “His promise of making his party win massively the Greater Accra Region in the just ended elections was not successful.”
Speaking to UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ show host Yaa Konamah, ‘Sir John’ as he is affectionately called indicated “President Nana Addo together with his administrators especially those in the employment sector would make work available to the youth who listened to his plea and voted his party into power.”
He added that, promises made by President Nana Akufo-Addo would certainly and rightfully be implemented as promised in no time.
To him “The president we have now is not like some past presidents who fulfill some promises of their manifesto and campaign messages leaving others to be continued by in-coming governments after they have squandered the allocated budgets provided for such projects.”
Sir John stressed, some citizens have criticized my pledge for the President to sack out of office some government appointees who served in Former President Mahama’s regime, which he careless about because the NDC government in their time did worst things than they are doing now.
