The executive board of the Baobab Hall of the African University College of Communications (AUCC) in collaboration with 3FM, Fat2Fit Ghana and Yomi Yoghurt will organise a health event on Saturday, March 25 at the forecourt of the school.
Dubbed ‘Shake it Off’, the event is expected to serve as a fitness exercise for all participants including the entire student body of AUCC as well as interested persons.
It is the College’s maiden health fitness event and expected to start at 5:30am.
It will have an aerobics session followed by a 15-minute health talk on healthy eating and finally, a fruit bazaar.
The Event Coordinator, Ishmael Africanus, in an interview with 3news.com urged the general public and entire student population to partake in the exercise.
“I am calling on the general public and entire student population to join us on Saturday as we launch our maiden edition of our health event.
“This event is one nobody should miss as we look to all to stay in shape and live healthy and I quote Lee Haney, Exercise to stimulate, not to annihilate.”
The dress code is simply white T-shirts over sportswear/pants.
