Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan says he is fully on form for the 2017 AFCON qualifier…
Asamoah Gyan has been battling with series of injuries, before and after he joined Al Ahli Dubai on loan from Shanghai SIPG. But the 31-year-old player noted he is now fully fit and ready to lead the Black Stars to face the AFCON tournament.
I am ready for the tournament, physically and mentally. We all know what is at stake, the last time we came so close and this time we really want to end it,” he said.
I have the hope and believe we will win next year’s title, we just have to go out there and work hard, he added.
Gyan’s last layoff was November and has featured in his past three games for Al Ain’s after his injury return, including a 90 minutes display against Al-Ittihad Kalba which is a big boost for the Black Stars ahead of the 2017 AFCON.
