Nana Addo’s convoy driving through the water on the bridge that links Yendi to Saboba.
The convoy of the 2016 Presidential nominee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo got stuck in water for the second time on his four-day tour in the Northern Region today.
The incident occurred when Nana Addo and his team were heading towards Saboba in the East Gonja District from Yendi.
Today’s incident occurred shortly after Nana Addo and his convoy had crossed the bridge that links Yendi to Saboba.
It would be recalled that the convoy of Nana Addo on day one of his four-day tour in the Northern Region (Tuesday, August 29,2016) got stuck in mud on the Gambaga to Walewale road.
Some of the occupants in the vehicles in the convoy had to step down from their vehicles in order to push their vehicles through the running water that had covered some portions of the road.
The journalists, for instance, got down from their vehicle and waded through the water in order to make the weight of their vehicle light enough to cross the water.
The leadership of the NPP led by Nana Addo is in the Northern Region for a four-day tour.
The team had already visited Bunkprugu, Walewale, Nasia, Sakuogu, Savelugu, and Tamale since the exercise started on Tuesday, August 29.
Below are pictures depicting how the convoy managed to cross the river.
