Communications Director of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Solomon Nkansah has described the presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party as the “cursed one”.
Speaking on First News Network (FNN)’s weekday political program, “Our View”, the Communications Director added that the recent stoning of the NPP’s flag bearer at Klottey Korle and the caving in of his stage at a rally in Kumasi in 2012 clearly authenticates his assertion.
Nana Akufo-Addo during the NPP Manifesto launch at Trade-Fair in Accra described himself as the modern “David” of Ghana’s politics who will lead the onslaught on John Mahama, whom he described as Goliath – a giant Philistine warrior.
According to Ghana’s main opposition leader, Mahama has state resources at his disposal going into the December 7 elections, but he has no doubt the “battle is going to be the Lord’s.”
“They have more money than us, but the battle is the Lord’s,” the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) told a swarming crowd of the party’s supporters.
Reacting to the above statements by the NPP’s Presidential Candidate on “Our View”, the NDC’s Communication Director, Solomon Nkansah affirmed that based on the biblical narrations, the Goliath in this year’s election is the NPP’s flag bearer since he claim he was mysteriously stoned during NPP’s rally at Klottey Korle Constituency.
“In 2012 God caused him to fall as an example of defeat ahead of him, and in 2016 he has been stoned as Goliath was stone,” the outspoken Solomon Concluded.
He added that the NPP can be freed spiritually only if Nana Addo loses the 2016 elections.
