The Deputy General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has described the flag bearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) as a ‘nobody’ to prevent them from entering Nima.
Mr. Anyidoho was responding to a question posed by a Citifm Reporter, on why the NDC should pass by Nima around the Nana Addo’s residence with their keep fit which resulted in clashes between supporters of the two parties.
But an obviously angered Koku Anyidoho gave a sharp response that the NPP flag bearer is nobody to decide where they should have their keep fits and where not to.
“So because Akufo Addo is at Nima so nobody will pass through Nima, he is nobody
Akufo-Addo is nobody and I insist, he is a nobody, its not because he lives anywhere so nobody will pass on a certain route.
He is a nobody and he will continue to remain nobody in Ghana’s politics.
He will not determine for us what we should do as an independent political party, he is a nobody, he is a nobody and I insist he is a nobody. He will not determine for us what route we should use in Accra. He is a nobody.”
He went further to say that even where the president lives individuals have health walks there as such why shouldn’t they [NDC] have health walks around the residence of the NPP’s flagbearer.
