Campaign Coordinator of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) is warning of dire consequences should Ghanaians vote for the flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to Kofi Adams, the NPP leader is a “danger to Ghana” due to his ‘divisive nature’ thus handing over the helms of affairs to him will be suicidal.
The NDC man was responding to Nana Akufo-Addo claim that, the ruling party led by President John Mahama and his running mate, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has the copyright in rigging elections.
This was after the Vice President alleged that, an opposition political party is planning to rig the December 7 general elections.
But Nana Akufo-Addo while addressing party members at Ablekuma Central in Accra, said the allegation by Mr. Amissah-Arthur is an admission that the NDC has thrown in the towel
In a rebuttal, Kofi Adams on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Tuesday said the NPP leader has rather exposed their ‘diabolical’ intentions ahead of the December polls.
He explained that the Vice President did not mention any political party but was only advising NDC members to be vigilant at the polling stations during election thus could not fathom why the Nana Akufo-Addo is offended.
Kofi Adams who is also the National Organizer of the NDC said they don’t need to rig election to retain President Mahama in power.
“We will not rig or lie our way into power. God brought President Mahama and the same God will let him win the elections” he added.
