The Royalhouse Chapel International has said it has noted with concern reports of certain persons holding themselves out as its founder, Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah, on various social media platforms, with the intent to extort monies from unsuspecting members of the public.
A statement released by Dzifa Gakpleazi, Esq., Director of Administration, on Sunday October 23 said: “Please be informed that neither the church nor its founder, the Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah, is in any way involved or associated with such deceptive solicitations. The general public is, therefore, cautioned to beware of so called messages from the Apostle General requesting them to give monetary support to people in need and or other such social causes.
It added: “Kindly note this and share with others to be on the watch for these fraudsters, and report directly to the church or the law enforcement agencies for appropriate action to be taken. Royalhouse Chapel remains committed to touching our generation through lawful and authentic social intervention programmes aimed at reaching the vulnerable in our society.
“We wish to state categorically that we do not do this by solicitation of funds from the unsuspecting public through unscrupulous means. Kindly beware of such schemes and advise yourself accordingly.”
