Beleaguered businessman, Alfred Woyome, has lashed out at a leading member of pressure group, OccupyGhana, Ace Ankomah, saying the latter has made a fortune out of judgment debts.
Occupyghana has been at the forefront in exposing alleged shady deals involving Mr Woyome . The group earlier this week revealed that the financial engineer has been awarded a new contract even though he has still not refunded the GHS51million judgment debt illegally paid him, which the Supreme Court has ordered him to refund to the state.
OccupyGhana in statement released Friday said it was “shocked, outraged and appalled to discover this: That while the nation is still reeling from the effect of the Alfred Woyome judgment debt scandal, and the stalled and hesitant attempts by the Attorney-General to execute the judgment of the Supreme Court, the Government of Ghana has, on the blind side of Ghanaians, entered into a ‘confidential’ and potentially lucrative agreement with Woyome, acting through one of his companies, Anator Holding Company Limited.”.
However, speaking on Accra based Joy FM Saturday, Mr Woyome attacked Mr Ankomah saying he has no moral right to talking about judgment debts when all his fortunes hinge on such debts as a lawyer .
“ Ace Ankomah lives on judgment debt; You have been living on judgment debts all your life . You built your houses from judgment debts,” enraged Woyome said.
The host of the programme had to cut him off the phone since he was going personal.
