Residents of Accra have been thrown into a state of fear after news broke that parts of the capital have been submerged following heavy downpour in the early hours of today.
According to media reports reaching Ghanastar.com, areas including Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Dzorwulu, Mallam Junction and Kaneshie were inundated with water destroying household properties.
Obviously, the ordinary people are not the only ones thrown in a state of trauma as ace HipLife artiste Kwaw Kesse took to his social media page to express his concern, saying “Let’s all pray for mother Ghana as the rains have started….. May disaster not come our way again in Jah name…. Somebody say amen!!!”
Media houses have advised the public to stay indoors and avoid going to flood prone areas to avoid any eventualities.
