Mayor of Accra Alfred Oko Vanderpuye is the latest dignitary to pledge support for Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe ahead of his clash with David ‘El Vasco’ Saucedo in their IBO Lightweight title bout.
He pledged his full support for the boxer when a high-powered delegation from Team Baby Jet called on him at his office during their World Title tour yesterday.
He advised the boxer to remain focused and disciplined as he hankers to write his name in gold as a world champion in the coming days.
Tagoe and his team thanked the Mayor for his words and promised to do mother Ghana proud on November 25.
