Philematologists – that is, kiss scientists have discovered that, apart from being just fun, pleasurable and erotic, kissing has got several other health benefits that haven’t crossed your mind. A study published in Physiology & Behavior proved that kissing can improve your resistance to having an allergic reaction. Researchers studied 60 people with skin or nasal allergies. They all spent 30 minutes in a private room kissing their spouse while listening to romantic music. They asked another group to do the same, but hug—no lip-locking allowed. The results? The researchers concluded that the kisses reduced their allergic reactions.

This compares to 11.2 calories per minute you burn jogging on a treadmill.
Kissing really has the ability to give us a kind of face-lift. This is because, several of the face muscles have connection with the mouth and when you kiss deeply, the neck and jawline get some shape up that helps in making your face look firm and younger. According to Susie Pearl, the author of Instructions for Happiness and Success, “Kissing keeps us younger, more attractive and makes our heart sing.”

With its calming effects, a kiss has the ability to grant you relieve from all forms of natural pains ranging from menstrual cramps to other body pains. Instead of avoiding romantic advances when suffering some sorts of pain, it has been discovered its quite preferable to try a long passionate kissing session which can really help ease your pain.
