Only four presidential aspirants have been given the nod by the Electoral Commission to contest the December 7 general elections.
The four are Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ivor Kobina Greenstreet of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) and Jacob Osei Yeboah, an independent candidate.
This was announced by the Chair of the Commission, Charlotte Osei, on Monday, October 10 after accepting filing fees of the nominees.
