Ghana is going to be a country that will flourish with wealth in 2017 if President John Mahama is maintained for a second term, spokesperson for the 2016 Campaign Team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mrs Joyce Bawah-Mogtari has said.
According to her, “…all the indications given by financial analysts both locally and internationally point to the fact that 2017 will be a year of prosperity for Ghana…”
In an interview with Benjamin Akakpo on Class91.3FM’s Executive Breakfast Show on Monday, 7 November, Mrs Bawah-Mogtari said under the leadership of President Mahama, Ghana is on the verge of being a major oil producer.
She said various job opportunities have been created under Mr Mahama through infrastructural projects such as the 200 Community Day Senior High Schools being put up across the country.
She said several measures have been introduced to solve the energy crisis that crippled businesses in the recent past adding that the country will soon be a net exporter of power.
Mrs Bawah-Mogtari explained that the president has visited the 216 districts of the country and knows the kind of interventions to introduce to create the needed employment for citizens.
She highlighted infrastructure expansion, technological advancement and social interventions that the president have undertaken and wondered why “Ghanaians will not give the president a second and final term in office.”
