The 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League begins on Sunday at six centers.
Matches involving champions Wa All Stars and 2016 FA Cup winners Bechem United have been postponed due to their respective continental campaigns in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup.
As a result, debutants Elmina Sharks, who are billed to play the champions, will have their maiden game on hold for a while, at least for seven more days.
Returnees Great Olympics will also not be seen on the opening day as they were billed to play Bechem United, who will host Algerian side MC Alger in the preliminary round of the Confederation Cup.
But the other 12 clubs including debutants Bolgatanga All Stars and Dreams FC replacers Tema Youth will be in action.
