A 39-year-old man has killed his cousin in cold blood for allegedly raping his sheep on Wednesday.
The suspect, who has admitted his crime according to reports, butchered his 24-year-old cousin, Joshua Agbontor after he caught him red-handed.
The unfortunate incident happened at New Baika in Hohoe of the Volta region.
The Hohoe District Police Commander Superintendent, Steven Boadu confirmed the incident to Adom News Thursday.
He said the suspect has pleaded guilty to the offense and is in custody assisting with investigations.
However, Supt. Steven Boadu indicated that, the report given by the suspect does not entirely match the evidence found at the crime scene.
