Former President John Dramani Mahama is not happy with Wednesday’s ransacking of the home of National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) by men believed to be from the National Security.
The men seized five vehicles of Kofi Adams’. He was not home when the incident occurred.
Taking to Facebook Thursday morning, Former President Mahama said the “Flagstaff House” officers “knew very well they were on the wrong path”.
He described the recent spate of attacks on his party’s functionaries as “needless” and “unprovoked”, calling for an immediate end to them.
Meanwhile, a member of the team that went to Mr Adams’ house has explained the circumstances leading to the operation.
Gabby Gilbert Morton wrote on Facebook that the cars belong to the state and Mr Adams was notified three weeks ago to return them.
He noted that the Greater Accra Region Chairman, Joseph Kobina Ade Coker, is next.
