I’m not contesting for Presidency in 2020 – Duffuor

Ghana’s former Finance Minister Dr. Kwabena Duffuor has said Ghanaians should treat claims making rounds in sections of the media that he is eyeing the presidency in 2020 with contempt.

According to him, he has “no intention, whatsoever, to contest for any elective public office” hence posters announcing his Election 2020 bid on social media are false.

“I have served my country in various capacities and consider myself a statesman who is retired from active politics,” the former Governor of the Bank of Ghana stressed in a statement.
