Black Queens coach Yusif Basigi has expressed satisfaction with his team’s display at the ongoing African Women’s Championship in Cameroon.
Ghana scored seven goals in the group stage of the tournament, conceding three in the process.
They progressed to the semi-finals on Saturday after beating Mali 3-1 to finish second in Group B.
Coach Basigi who is hoping to win the tournament for the first time in the country’s history is pleased with his team’s form going into the last four
“I am very pleased with what the girls have done so far in the competition, to get to this stage is all about their hard work,” he said
“We can only build on this in our subsequent matches because the stage we have reached is very difficult.”
