Ifeanyi Ubah coach Yaw Preko has returned home to the country after an impressive first round in the Nigerian Premier League.
The former Hearts of Oak assistant coach guided the side to eighth position; six points behind leaders Plateau United after 19 matches.
Preko took charge of the side before the start of the season after his boss Kenichi Yatsuhashi was fired.
He expressed satisfaction at the work done so far but believes there is the potential to do more.
”In the history of the club, I’m the first coach to be in-charge at the end of the first round. People are seeing the work I’m doing and I guess they like it,” Preko told GHANASoccernet.com.
”But I must add that there’s more room for improvement.
”I must express gratitude to the management for being patient with me and giving me the support to work and now it’s evident that I have the qualities to do the work. Thanks to them.”
