English top-flight side West Brom have slapped in their third offer for Ghana defender Jeff Schlupp worth £12m to force his move from Leicester City, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.
This comes after the Foxes rejected two previous offers of £10 and £11m to help the Baggies secure the left-back.
The 23-year-old, who can also play on the left wing and in the attacking position, has been a long time target of Tony Pulis.
With talks over the move moving very fast Schlupp was removed from Leicester’s squad for their Premier League opener against Hull.
The Ghanaian, a key part of the Foxes, was not selected by Claudio Ranieri in the 18-man squad that fell 2-1 at Hull City in Saturday’s opening match of the season.
This shows that the talks have advanced, and a move is imminent as the offer is likely to be accepted.
Schlupp played in 24 matches for the Foxes last term and scored one goal as they won the title.
He signed an improved four-year contract with Leicester last season, but the presence of Riyad Mahrez and Marc Albrighton has limited his playing chances.
