Wa All Stars Chief Executive Samuel Oduro-Nyarko is confident his side will make a huge impact at the WAFU tournament in Senegal.
The Ghanaian champions will face AS Tanda, the Ivorian champions, on Thursday.
All Stars have been inconsistent in the Ghana Premier League and suffered early elimination from the CAF Champions League.
”Things have not gone the way we want so far but we excited about the WAFU tourney and we are going there to make ourselves proud,” Oduro-Nyarko told Graphic Sports.
”As a team, we did not get the chance to settle in at our debut in the Champions League.
”This WAFU tourney presents us with another good opportunity and we would very much like to seize the opportunity to make up for the lost chance in Africa.”
