Vice Chairman of the Black Stars management team, Winfred Osei aka Palmer says the Football Association (FA) is ready to work with the minister designate for the Sports Ministry, Isaac Asiamah.
“We are prepared to work with the new Sports Minister. Heading the Sports Ministry is not an easy task. He should listen to all factions and sides, during his tenure to be able to decipher truth from false. He should not listen to people and draw to conclusions”, he said.
“If he doesn’t understand anything concerning football, he should talk to us. He should have a free mind, and we at the FA will offer him our support”, he added.
Osei, who is also the bankroller of Tema Youth Football Club, believes with the appointment of Isaac Asiamah, issues between the FA and the Sports Ministry will be friendly.
With the exit of the former Sports Minister, Nii Lante Vanderpuye, who had a frosty relationship with the GFA, many sports enthusiasts are of the opinion that the incoming Sports Minister will have a cordial working relationship with the FA.
