Hanan Wahab won first MVP in his first game for Tema Youth
Despite being out of action from the beginning of the season, former New Edubiase midfielder Hanan Wahad emerged the man of the match is his first game of the season for his new side Tema Youth.
The Tema-based side picked a 2-1 win over ailing Accra Great Olympics at the Tema Park in a game which was dominated by each side in each half.
Hanan, who played for New Edubiase last season could not inspire them to avoid relegation, spending half a season with lowly ranked Tema United before deciding to join Tema Youth.
The instrumental midfielder intelligently dominated the midfield and provided the needed passes for his side.
He was hugely remarkable whenever the team is in transition, turning defence into attack.
His immense strength was a great addition which catapulted the Tema Youth side to pick the all-important win over their visiting counterparts.
Hanan, who was the runner up in the 2014 MTN Soccer Academy, a soccer reality show, won four man of the match awards last season when he played for New Edubiase in the league.
